NRC also provides technical support to other Nexans units, as well as Modeling/Simulation, Compounding and Analytical service.
Its main missions are:

to work with the Competence Centers and Engineering Management to develop Nexans' lines of research

to develop new materials, processes and technologies to provide innovative concepts for new products

to develop products with high added value for Nexans' customers, to help reduce manufacturing costs

to develop strong ties with universities and take responsibility for the external research partnerships

to ensure the technological watch in Nexans' areas of activity

to detect new market opportunities

to train technical personnel to prepare the future of the group
Where is the NRC located?
NRC is located in two sites: Lyon (France) and Nuernberg (Germany). Basis research and studies on cross-linked materials are performed in Lyon, while thermoplastic materials are developed in Nuernberg.
