High Voltage accessories from Nexans have acquired a leading position in the world market for the high voltage power cables and offers a complete range of high voltage cable accessories suitable for underground cables. A complete range of terminations, joints and the related accessories for XLPE, EPR and all types of paper insulated cables up to 550 kV are available.
Sealing ends from 60 kV up to 500kV for outdoor or GIS applications are available with pre-molded rubber stress cones, suitable for oil or SF6 filling. Insulators exist in porcelain, epoxy and composite fiberglass and silicone with a special design for explosion proof applications. A dry type termination in silicone rubber is available up to 145 kV.
