Hanover, April 21, 2008 – In order to get to know and judge the properties of a cable or wire, it is often necessary to study technical data intensively and make an extensive comparison. This research is made easier by Nexans Deutschland Industries GmbH & Co’s e-service, an area of the Nexans website reserved for registered users and recently improved.
There are two possibilities for using the e-service: with the help of the precisely indexed search engine, the customer can browse through the desired product features and standards they need to conform to in our comprehensive catalogue by means of the cable type. The alternative search leads the customer to comprehensive product information and specific news via the sector and respective market segments. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to construct an individual product catalogue or list of favourites. This information can be made available to colleagues at the click of a mouse. In this way, communication between the procurement and technology departments is easier. Naturally, the product data sheets can be saved as PDF files and are thus available as records or to pass on to others.
In order to remain informed, registered users of the e-service can also subscribe to a free newsletter. Here, there is a choice of different news categories, so everybody can choose their topics.
