Paris, November 18 : Nexans has launched new range of optical fibre connectivity to provide complete solutions for every situation including Storage Area Networks and Data Centres.
A major improvement has been achieved with the introduction of the Nexans 'Snap-in' concept within Nexans range of optical couplers. The 'snap-in' concept provides modular Patch Panels and Zone Distribution Boxes which can be populated as required with room for further expansion as necessary.
The new snap-in range also means that Small Form Factor (SFF) technology including LC and MT-RJ is supported across the whole LANmark portfolio.
The modular approach reduces stocking costs in the channel and provides installers with the benefit of faster installation times resulting from the simple snap-in mechanism which removes the need for screw couplers.
The product range has also been expanded with a comprehensive set of accessories such as splice trays for both Loose tube and Tight Buffer cables, pigtails, and a new range of fast field installable anaerobic cure connectors.
