End of Life Notification : Shielded PVC Cables

Nexans would like to inform you that all shielded cables with a PVC jacket have been made obsolete.

The phase-out concerns only Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables, since all higher performing cables were already available exclusively with an LSZH sheath.

The decision has been made due to continued decreasing sales volumes of PVC cables, especially in the shielded constructions.
For the time being, the unshielded PVC cables will remain in the range.

We also take this opportunity to inform you of the phase-out of some additional cables.
