Description
Indoor railways cable for the transmission of Digicode signals
Standards
International : EN 50266-2-4; EN 50267-2-1; EN 50267-2-2; EN 50268-2; IEC 60332-1; IEC 60332-3; IEC 61034-1/2Description
Preferential use
- Indoor railways cable for the transmission of Digicode
Key-points
- Flame retardant
- halogen free
- Armoured
Construction
- Conductor: Wire copper of 1.4 mm nominal diameter for the data pairs (0.6 mm for the auxiliary pair).
- Insulation: Solid polyethylene.
- Twinning: Two insulated conductors are uniformly twisted together to form a pair.
- Stranding: Pairs are helically twisted in concentric layers to form the cable core.
- Core wrapping: Plastic Tape (s) with overlapping
- Inner sheath: low density polyethylene.
- Moisture barrier: A both-sides copolymer of ethylene coated aluminium tape longitudinally laid with.
- Intermediate sheath: HFFRLS compound.
- Armour: Two galvanised steel tapes helically applied
- Outer sheath: HFFRLS compound.
Other versions on request
- Outdoor PE version : no HFFRLS
- Outdoor PVC version : EN 50265-2-1 ; IEC 60332-1 ; NF C 32-070/C2 compliant
Notes
- Sheath marking: Customer-definable, including length marking.
- Number of pairs is not counting the auxiliary pair conductors.
- Avoid direct sun exposure before and after installation
- Fire performance: EN 50268-2; EN50267-2-1; EN 50267-2-2; EN 50266-2-4; IEC 60332-3
