Take a look at our rigorous testing programme and find more information about the characteristics of Titanex®
The TITANEX® flexible rubber cable range offers exceptional performances and is designed to release you from all your constraints. Robust yet flexible, TITANEX® is easy to use and withstands the toughest of conditions, such as hard-wearing situations, extreme temperatures and most chemicals.
For more than 50 years the TITANEX® cable range properties have been recognized as the best choice for all mobile and fixed installations in industrial environments such as construction sites, cranes, machines tools, factories, generators etc.
TITANEX® is also suitable for public environments and temporary events such as festivals or sports competitions, where the cable is often laid directly on the ground with no protection.
But just how good is TITANEX?
With a proud history and profound expertise in cable design, materials and standards, Nexans continues to improve its rubber cable range.
Flexible and easy to work with
TITANEX® is easy to work with, even in large cross sections. You can choose between 1 and 36 cores, and from 1 to 630 mm² cross sections. TITANEX® cables are suitable for all mobile and fixed installations.
Robust for heavy situations
TITANEX® is one of the most robust* rubber cables in the industry for both indoor and outdoor use. Tests have shown excellent resistance to vibrations and abrasion.
*Tested to withstand 5 times the 30 000 continuous cycles required by the standard.
Enhanced marking resistance and cross section identification at first sight
TITANEX® marking lasts 4 times longer compared to the industry standards, ensuring that the cable can be used time and time again.
NEW! For ease of installation, the number of cores and cross-sections size are enlarged.
Resistant to various chemicals and oils
TITANEX® rubber cables range is highly resistant to most chemicals and oils.
Withstands ultraviolet rays
TITANEX® cables can be installed outdoors without the risk of ultraviolet rays degrading the cable’s properties.
TITANEX® is resistant to intermittent water. The cable also tolerates moist environments.
NEW! 90°C Maximum temperature at the core
TITANEX® withstands high operating temperature up to 90°C and operating voltage up to 1 kV in fixed and protected installations.
