Paris, January 16, 2001 - Valeo has chosen Nexans as its main provider of wire, especially enamel insulated wire. These products are destined for European, Asian and American markets.
"Being part of a panel of 300 main providers at Valeo now confirms that the quality of Nexans products has been recognized by our most demanding clients" said Michel Lemaire,President of the Wire Division at Nexans. He added: "This new contract will encourage us in pursuing our commitments in the development of new products, innovation and improvement in our logistical services as well as in programs for cost reduction."
Because it has been selected as one of the 300 preferred providers at Valeo, Nexans will automatically be consulted about new projects, with a priority in the selection process when up against competitors with like performance.
