Nexans Power Accessories Germany

Developing modern power networks, creating intelligent control mechanisms and integrating renewable energy sources are the essential tasks of today’s energy industry, which Nexans Power Accessories Germany will continue to tackle in the future.

On their way to demand-oriented power generation, transmission and distribution, we have been an important consultant to our customers, falling back on the diversified fields of competence of our globally active Nexans group. With ground-breaking innovations and continuous improvements to an ever-growing product range, we have consistently set new standards.

At our plant in Hof, Germany, we manufacture connectors and cable lugs under the GPH® brand for terminating, connecting and branching cables using press and screw technology. Our daily work is geared to making our products easy to install and safe in their application as well as handling our clients’ orders with great diligence.

The history of GPH®

Gerhard Petri founds GPH® (Gerhard Petri KG Hof) in a garage and produces his first product from 1960: overhead line clamps.

The product range is expanded by crimp technology. The AL/CU press welding process enables the production of bimetallic crimp connectors and cable lugs made of aluminum and copper.

In 2002, the family-managed GPH® is sold to the French Nexans Group and continues to operate under a new name as a subsidiary of Nexans Deutschland GmbH. Just one year later, a new subsidiary is founded in Poland.

GPH® GmbH and EUROMOLD® GmbH merge to form Nexans Power Accessories Germany GmbH. With this step, the new company now offers a complete range of connection technology and power cable accessories from a single source.
